You can learn a tremendous amount on our training events that will assist you towards your photographic goals. We will give you an clear overview of photography in part one which will give you a insight on how professional photographers work.

week prior to the start of the first session. Payment can be made by credit
card or cheque payable to 'MIStudio ltd'. Payment via Paypal can be arranged.

PART ONE: Camera Craft
Part one consists of both theory & practical. It is 3 hours long, planned from 7 pm through to 10 pm and is priced at £45.00 per person.
What to expect :
Know your equipment - camera, lens, file format, pc & printer.
Focusing - Depth of field.
Composition - Image orientation, movement & perspective.
Colour composition - perception.
Exposure - metering, bracketing, back-lighting.
Flash photography.
PART TWO: Understanding Lighting
Part two is mostly practical. Being 3 hours long, planned from 7pm to 10pm and priced at £45.00 per person.
What to expect:
Studio lighting - Monobloc, wattage, stands, tungsten lighting.
Accessory lighting, location lighting, & existing lighting.
Light & flash meters, gels.
Portraits, fashion, glamour style & angles.
PART THREE: Digital Image Modification - Using Photoshop
Part three is split in to 3 sessions priced at £180.00 per person for all 3 sessions. (single session at £60. please phone the studio to let us know what level of P.S you are requiring)
What to expect:
Photoshop tools & workspace.
Image workflow using 'bridge' & Raw file processing.
Image retouching, sharpening, print production.
Layer masking & blending, cut outs and image manipulation.
Colour management, actions & automation, History brushes.
Advanced image adjustments, Mono Conversion, Traditional photos processing,
review with tips & tricks.
Complete Program Package
PART FOUR: Bringing It All Together
Part four is 3 hours long and is planned from 7 pm through to 10 pm.
Priced at £45.00 per person.
What to expect:
Studio Photo shoot by applying the other 3 previous sessions
The full program (All afore mentioned packages spread over a 6 session timescale) at a special introductory price of £275.00.
